House of Ivy

“House of Ivy” is about a group of young women in London who are all connected due to their place of employment- The Mênage Hotel. The hotel is London’s most notorious place of lodging- a five star rated maven studded with luxury and fame. Under the seemingly poise guise of the hotel, there’s a secret prostitution ring being run by Ivy Powell- the hotel manager. This female ran operation is insanely lucrative and has elevated the lives of everyone involved. The girls involved in the ring are using it as a means to get to their ultimate goals- whatever those may be. The central conflict of the series revolves around a group of women in their 20s trying to come into their own- making sense of themselves and the world around them. Ultimately the girls want to mold themselves into who they think they should be. Each girl has a different view / relationship with the ring and their participation in it.
