Synopsis/Details
Immortal follows The Slugz, a scrappy rock band clawing for a break in the California underground scene. Led by frontman Leon, with Jesse on drums, Derek on guitar, and Stevie as their blunt but loyal driver, the band loses its manager just days before a major gig. What begins as a routine tour spirals into chaos when their van is stolen, along with all their gear, leaving them stranded and desperate in Los Angeles.
They reconnect with Eli Lee, a former bandmate turned successful film composer, who offers them shelter at his lavish hillside mansion. The catch? Eli now lives with his enigmatic girlfriend Adriana—a woman with unsettling presence, haunting beauty, and habits that don’t quite fit the living. When Adriana loses control during a dinner, her true nature is revealed: she’s a vampire, over a century old, battling urges she can no longer suppress. Tensions mount as the band grapples with the shock, and Eli’s attempts to explain are met with fear and disbelief.
As the group tries to recover and regroup, they must also contend with Hannah Wilcher, a self-declared vampire huntress with a family legacy and something to prove. She believes a vampire is hiding in Eli’s house, and she’s prepared to expose it at any cost. When her suspicions point squarely at Adriana, the situation escalates. The Slugz are forced into the role of protectors, balancing their fear with loyalty—not just to Adriana, but to Eli.
What follows is a night of mistrust, near-misses, dark confessions, and forced alliances. Adriana’s struggle to resist her predatory instincts collides with the band’s need for survival and Eli’s desperate belief that love can hold her steady. As secrets emerge and alliances fray, the group must confront what it means to protect something—or someone—that terrifies them.
Immortal is not just a horror story. It’s a meditation on addiction, forgiveness, and what remains of humanity when immortality strips away everything else. Anchored by dark humor, sharp character work, and an unflinching look at the cost of living forever, Immortal is a vampire tale that subverts expectations while holding onto the emotional weight that keeps myth alive.
