Incipience

In a heavenly realm, an unborn soul is able to preview what life on earth will be like. He is mentored by an elder soul, and their conversation forms the essence of the film. They talk briefly yet deeply about existential themes like identity, love, suffering, justice, transforming pain, and non-duality. My primary inspiration for this is the work of Richard Rohr, who is a well known spiritual author and teacher. I thought that putting his main ideas into cinematic form would be uniquely creative and engaging. Perhaps the closest parallel in terms of tone would be 'The Tree of Life' by Terrence Malick. While not everyone's cup of tea, I hope that people find it reflective and uplifting.
