Synopsis/Details
"Indigo" is an hour-long crime drama comprising eight episodes, about a murder mystery surrounding an advertising agency and a troubled young woman who finds solace in breaking into other people's homes. Still mourning the death of her older brother, Philip, in a military mission, Indigo, our protagonist, has found a peculiar way of coping with her inner turmoil: she breaks into other people's apartments and immerses herself in their lives to forget about her own. Even though she never gets caught, her luck runs out by the end of the first episode, as she witnesses the event that will set off the main conflict of the series, which will revolve around the advertising agency where she works.
Indigo works as a graphic designer at LC Advertising (LCA), the most prominent advertising agency in the country, which happens to be on the verge of a very important merger with the up-and-coming agency, Rocket Ads. However, nothing is as it seems, and the seeds of conflict are visible from the very beginning, as we witness the interaction between the main players in the agency. Thus, we get to meet ALEXANDRA STERN (early 50s), the idealistic and intransigent founder and creative director of LC Advertising; LOLA FAUST (29), LCA's overly ambitious copywriter and merger coordinator; NIKO MOSCOVICI (34), the impressionable founder of Rocket Ads; and GEORGE IVANOV (early 50s), LCA's pragmatic CFO. Although the merger appears to be at the root of all their problems, in reality, their morally corrupt ways of dealing with their troubles represent the real reason for their subsequent downfall. Everyone here is hiding something, and they're all doing their best to keep their secrets hidden.
As the plot progresses, we gradually peel back all the layers, revealing details about secret love affairs, blackmail, and collusion.
