Synopsis/Details: 

A short film - 10 mins approx.

After a seemingly chance meeting in a bookshop, loner Joanne lets down her guard and has a few drinks with a charming stranger - Declan. The film opens as they arrive back at Joanne's flat and she decides to invite him in. Her flat is a mess, and we learn she's a frustrated writer working in a literary agency with dreams of getting her own novel published one day. She's emotionally fragile, but Declan is kind and understanding and puts her at ease.

As the story unfolds, it becomes apparent that Declan is uncomfortable and in pain. He repeatedly touches his chest. Eventually, he goes to the bathroom and emerges, bare-chested to reveal the source of his discomfort. Joanne's life will never be the same.
