Synopsis/Details
During his extended time away, an interstate truck driver gives in to his desire for gay kink. In the dimly lit underbelly of Brisbane's inner south, he prowls as a sinister figure, leaving a haunting trail of strangled gay teens in his wake. In the shadows, a distraction takes shape as an unknown twin brother materialises. The sight of his brother's seemingly effortless success triggers a wave of jealousy, leaving him yearning for the same charmed existence. He feels oppressed by his own sense of inadequacy, which causes him to underachieve. Whenever he's in the club, he loves the sensation of being pushed to his limits by the skilled dungeon master. His pleasure comes from pain, and he craves it above all else. Occasionally, he catches the scent of a teenage boy, and what starts as a quiet, sensual affair always ends in a brutal murder by strangulation. When he strangles an undercover police officer the pressure builds. The existence of an unknown twin brother becomes an all-consuming distraction for him. The revelation brings many tears but an unbelievable connection. He can't help but feel envious of his twin's charmed life, which only emphasises his own failures. Anger and jealousy surface. Joshua conceives Antony has had a better life. His family fall in love with Antony and the storm brews. Joshua’s son Danny accuses his father of dickhead behaviour and the itch is scratched. Antony struggles to understand Joshua’s erratic behaviour and takes a step back and leaves all contact to be initiated by Joshua. I have made a bit of noise across the film festival circuit and would like to take my career to a new level. The first thing I need to say is that if you have religious sensibilities, my works are not for you. Making a statement with a message is my intention in everything I do, as I shed light on the darkness of human nature. I received feedback that showed my best stuff is the dark stuff. I was congratulated on the fact that I have the guts to tackle subjects that most shy away from, such as childhood sexual abuse and sexual addiction. I have penned a captivating… Go to bio
