Synopsis/Details
The by the book Kahli Singh and her partner Robert "Kip" Kipling are the law in the year 2513, for a matriarchal society. But things are still unbalanced and absolute power has corrupted absolutely. The rich live off world, the rest are slaves and live on the dying planet Earth. But one woman, Eve Adams, has a way to fix that; mass genocide.
Over the years, the DNA of every human on earth has been collected and stored, under the pretense of ensuring the continuation of the species, but in truth it's a way to replace people who learn to think for themselves. It's also spawned a black market for DNA fraud, now societies greatest crime.
When a moon missile base becomes reactivated, threatening the safety of Earth, Chief Justice Authority Adams, puts her best Bounty Cops on the case to find an old professor who holds the key to stopping the missiles. Singh and Kipling are saddled with a rookie Intel cop, Charli Boyd, to find the old man.
When they track his DNA to a restaurant, they find a young woman with three small children using his DNA to get extra food for her undocumented kids. They use Anne Marie to lead them to Doctor Mal-Chin Sung-Woo but things go sideways when the trigger happy Boyd shoots Anne Marie.
They then begin to take the doctor into custody but the hunters suddenly become the hunted and Kip is separated from Kahli. Kahli must find a way to get the key that the doctor has in his possession, clear her and Kip's names, and stop the out of control Adams from murdering everyone on Earth.
