LAST CALL [A Collection of Modern-Day Parables]

(GENERAL NOTES ABOUT THIS SCRIPT:] This film is a collection of short stories that are modern-day, urban interpretations of biblical parables. They impart the wisdom needed to avert spiritual death. There are different series based on the storytelling and protagonist/antagonist styles within each collection. 1) STRANGER SERIES (These parables involve protagonists and antagonists whom do not know each other and encounter each other to create experiences that impart knowledge. This series of shorts is a set of unrelated stories and is non-chronological in content. They can intermingle between the other parables throughout the full length of the film.) 2) KING SERIES (These parables involve a group of righteous, middle-aged, close-knit peers. Their leader gets betrayed and is 'crucified' by cops. This series of shorts make up a chronological story broken up into four parts which can intermingle between the other parables throughout the full length of the film.) 3) PROPHET PERFORMER SERIES (These parables involve urban prophets who are trying to impart urgent warnings to the public by reciting scripture and/or doing extremely visual street performance art. This series of shorts is a set of unrelated stories and is non-chronological in content. They can intermingle between the other parables throughout the full length of the film.) 4) PEER SERIES (These parables involve groups of righteous, middle-aged, close-knit peers and/or couples who use situations to impart knowledge to each other. This series of shorts is a set of unrelated stories and is non­chronological in content. They can intermingle between the other parables throughout the full length of the film.)
