Synopsis/Details
KEVIN spent his whole life trying to do it right, went to college, got a good stable job, only to find it made him miserable. When a world ending meteor is days away from hitting earth, Kevin finally found his way out. In his final days he makes a desperate attempt to make up for all the time he spent being "responsible" and have some fun before the world ends. Things get off to a rocky start when his best friend, MAC, follows his girlfriend, HALEY, to her parents house instead of helping with his party, but with the help of new best friend, sixteen year old RONALD and an old barkeep named HANK, who agrees to host the party in his pub, Rockos. The party commences and Kevin finds himself not having the time he'd hoped, but his night quickly turns around when he meets ANNIE, an on and off recovering drug addict with a knack for having a good time. The two hit it off and the looming threat of the end of the world fades into the background. Meanwhile Mac is regretting his decision to follow Haley when her father tries to make him repent, so they can be saved, in what he believes to be the rapture. Ron has also invited his high school crush ANGELA to the party and they are hitting it off. Fed up with the religious nonsense, Mac convinces Haley to leave her parents house and go back to the party, along the way they run into Ron and Angela in a park, about to have sex. The awkward encounter ends by them realizing their connection in Kevin and Ron brings them back to the party. Kevin's night begins to spiral when some of his most hated coworkers find their way to his party. Kevin spirals as he feels even in the end, he can't escape work, finally snapping and storming out of the party, followed by Annie. They come across a cult and Kevin tries to lean into his recklessness and wants to go in, Annie says no, so he goes in alone. As Ron and Angela get back to the party with Mac and Haley, they find Kevin gone and the party descended completely into chaos. Fearing for their lives as the booze runs low and the drunken mob with a little more than a few hours to live, closes in on them, our characters abandon the pub to go find Kevin, save for Hank, who defends his bar till the end. Kevin finds himself in the best case scenario, it is a sex cult, and they decide to fit in a final orgy...before they group suicide. After the orgy Kevin tries to sneak out, but is caught easily. Tied up and about to be killed, he is saved by his friends. They had run into Annie who told them where Kevin was. The group finds a nice park to spend their final minutes, Kevin realizes that he made his life miserable and he only had himself to blame, but all too late, as the meteor hits and the shock wave engulfs them.
