Synopsis/Details
“Life As A Peach” is a coming of age drama about two innocent children, who run away from an abusive foster home. The story revolves around Ellie, a 10 year old girl who lives with a drug addict mother and drunken father. After a series of unfortunate events, she's placed in a foster home with her new caregiver, Ms. Williams. It's there she meets the only friend she's ever had, David. Shy and reluctant, he soon comes out of his shell and the two become friends. Unbeknownst to Ellie, Ms. Williams isn't what her persona puts out. She's an abusive drunk, putting the children through a realm of emotional and physical abuse. It's not long before Ellie has had enough. She hatches a plan for her and David to runaway to Muncie, Indiana, where her uncle lives, with the hope he'll adopt them. Throughout the course of their journey, for the first time in years, the two experience a brief period of happiness. David documents their journey with his only prized possession, a disposable camera which he shoplifted from a grocery store. The movie strikes a balance of beauty and despair, as the children forge ahead without knowing what truly awaits them. Yet, it's each others company which keeps them going. Eventually, a stroke of luck puts the children on a delivery truck headed to Muncie. Upon arrival, Ellie and David soon discover there is nobody waiting for them. Life as a Peach is a heartfelt drama that explores an often overlooked subject. Abused children and the perils of foster care.

An over the top, zany, quirky comedy that follows the story of a man who learns of his inherited mustache powers following the death of his mother. Creating that film, re-ignited a fire from his childhood when he used to make short films for a local Public Access Channel. Following the success of 'The Mustache Movie', Stephen went on to write and direct two more short films and the web-series 'Castle Siege' which won 'Best Iowa Film' at the Snake Alley Festival of Film and secured distribution with several Web TV Networks.
