Synopsis/Details
A group of humanitarian workers operating near the Arizona-Mexico border grows increasingly frustrated by the obstruction of their life-saving efforts by corrupt Border Patrol and ICE agents. These agents uphold a cruel immigration policy under a newly authoritarian U.S. president. Feeling powerless against official forces, the workers turn to a radical strategy: targeting the agents’ families to deter them from enforcing harsh policies. As fear spreads and agents abandon their posts, the president is forced to reconsider his stance and explore more humane immigration reform.

The Writer: Roberto Negron

I write stories that live in the tension between truth and distortion --- where systems break down, identities fracture, and people are forced to reckon with what's real. My screenplays often blend political satire with emotional drama, exploring moral ambiguity, media manipulation, and the psychology of deception. I'm drawn to characters who navigate collapse with grit, vulnerability, and dark humor. My latest project, Like A scene Out of A Movie, imagines the downfall of the sitting US president --- a satirical thriller rooted in real events and emotional fallout. It's a story about legacy, division, and the quiet violence of public spectacle. Go to bio
