Synopsis/Details
Living Touch Screenplay by Myles Hunt myleshunt@gmail.com (716) 560-5149 Genre: Family, Adventure & Sci-fi Audience: Family of all ages Key Characters: Mona - Lead protagonist, she is a woman with the power to touch anything (a sculpture, painting or toy) and make them come alive with a single touch. In order to keep her gift a secret, she always wears stylish gloves. Bill - Love interest, he is a colleague that Mona falls in love with and later protects her secret while on the run together. Aunt Francine - Lead Antagonist, Mona’s Aunt is a government official with no love or sense of empathy for the world, she only seeks control. When she discovers her niece's gift, she desires to replicate it and use it for control in all aspects of life. Princess Gorgeous - Protagonist’s ally, she was one of Mona’s first creations from one of her doll toys. As a real human, albeit two feet tall, she now leads the colony of created childhood people deep in the woods and is always there for Mona. Mom & Dad - Protagonist’s parents, although unnamed, these two help reign in Mona with her power and learn to teach her how to use it correctly. Plot Summary: At Mona’s fifth birthday party, she makes a wish that everything she touched could come alive. After blowing out the candles, little did her and the family know her wish came true. The discovery led the family to grow with various toys, sculptures and other beings suddenly living amongst them. Mona’s parents helped her learn how to use her power responsibly and to aid her creations in any way they could. To mitigate any issues that could come with Mona interacting with the outside world, she is made to wear gloves to prevent any calamities. She makes them part of her style and lives life relatively well. As Mona becomes an adult, she discovers that her malicious Aunt Francine has always known about her power and seeks to replicate it for her own mad sense of control. Her Aunt attempts to capture her using her own creations, but fails and forces her niece to go on the run. Mona grabs her crush, Bill, to join her in escaping. Aunt Francine decides to capture her creations instead, forcing Mona to show up and save the day. Creations are made, adventure is had and a fight for all begins! Additional Notes: Mona has the power to animate anything she touches. For example, if she touches a photo of Bruce Springsteen, he comes to life as the size of the image and can emerge from it. The same goes for sculptures, if she touches them they can move and leave their museums or yards. Images of objects or food can be accessed within the photos she touches. If she touches an advertisement for a Big Mac, she can grab the Big Mac and eat it. One detail is that whatever she touches that is an imitation of or a copy, they come exactly alive as that thing. If a blue teddy bear is touched, a real live blue bear that size will be created. If a plastic toy soldier is touched, a miniature human with a full military background and personality will be created. Same goes for celebrities in a magazine. If she touches a photo of Paul Rudd, a smaller version of him will be able to come out of the photo image with the full personal life up to that point of the photo being taken. If a bronze lion sculpture is touched, the lion will become real, but in the color of bronze.
