Love and Loss in West Berlin

Matthias Fuchs has just finished tracking down Christopher Dieke, a Scottish Crime Lord. When he tells his contractor, Jack, about this Jack offers him another job. To go to West Berlin and steal Soviet documents pertaining to the discovery of Alchemy. Matthias is about to accept when Elsey, a well-mannered prostitute, interrupts the conversation, Matthias takes an immediate liking to her, which Jack notices. Matthias takes the job with hopes that if he does this job he can take Elsey and leave that world behind them. Once Matthias gets to Berlin he meets Dr. Saxon Murdoch, a Major in the Queens Royal Army, who explains to him just how serious the matter is. "I'm saying they could accidentally split the earth in half." Soon after he meets his heist crew, Alfred, Martin, and Clarice. A lockpick, fire-controlling Veteran, and teleporting temptress, respectively. Who have rough starts with each other, especially Alfred and Martin, before all coming together in order to destroy this soviet research before it can be used. The thing is though, Saxon wants it destroyed, but Jack has buyers lined up for the technology. The heist goes off without a hitch until Matthias takes too long finding a file causing Alfred to get shot. Because of this Matthias really thinks about all that he's doing and how it's hurting other people. With the folder in hand, Matthias returns to Jack, demanding no payment for the job, only to have Elsey. Jack humors Matthias and shows him that Elsey has been induced into a zombie-like state that follows Jacks every whim. Jack rapes her right in front of Matthias. Then shoots him to tie up a loose end. But just as Jack is about to let Matthias bleed out, Elsey shoots him in the head, Killing him. The two leave, happy to have each other, knowing they're now safe.
