Reena and Sajib, two village teenagers, share the same road to school every morning. For Sajib, those quiet rides become a secret world of love, though he never confesses his feelings. Reena’s friendship with another boy, Akash, slowly grows into something deeper, leaving Sajib behind. As years pass, Sajib reflects on his silent affection, learning that true love is not about possession but about letting someone find their own happiness. When Reena and Akash invite him to their wedding, Sajib finally feels peace, realizing that love also means letting go. Love by the Roadside is a heartfelt short film about youthful innocence, first love, and the courage to move on.
