Matarte duele

IT HURTS TO KILL YOU (version in Spanish) tells us the story of Marcial Rivera, an experienced mexican hitman, who is told to assassinate Norbey Campos, a very famous singer from the North of Mexico, no less than Marcial's favorite artist. First, he intercepts Norbey's van and then kills him on a lonely road, after getting off his last concert. Nevertheless, days before doing so, the assassin decides to see him at a foggy, quiet and lonely lake to wich Norbey goes to fish once in a while. Marcial approaches the singer in a little fishing boat and introduces himself just as a fan. However, Norbey realizes soon he's not just a fan but his murderer too, and tries, in vane, to get away from the place: he's surrounded by Marcial's gunmen. This is the right moment for Marcial to talk to him and apologize, to tell him how sorry he feels, how much he admires him, but there's no way back. Decision's been made. To the singer, all these confessions are hard to believe. He believes he's just being threatened. It must be some kind of intimidation. Marcial tries to make him understand he's not messing around, that he has to enjoy the short period of time he has left. But Norbey won't listen. He doesn't even care about the reason why they want to kill him, because he knows it very well: Norbey and Marcial's boss are sleeping with the same woman. To try to make him understand one last time, Marcial tells the singer he saw him having sex with the woman. He takes advantage of that moment to express Norbey how good he looked doing so and how much he'd like to see him naked again. Turned on by the heat of his own words, Marcial kisses the singer. It's reciprocate. However, Norbey takes the assassin's gun and shoots his leg. Therefore, Marcial's men prepare their guns, but he calms the guys down by telling them that it was just and accident, that everything's all right. Marcial takes his gun back and leaves the place in a very slowly manner, getting lost among the fog.
