Synopsis/Details
VICTOR (30s), a former US army medic, runs ultra-marathons to deal with the severe PTSD he suffered during his recent deployment to Afghanistan. During a 100-mile race in the Arizona desert, he encounters a lost family in desperate need of medical attention. Victor quickly realizes these people are being hunted by human traffickers operating under the protection of a corrupt border patrol officer. Victor has no choice but to fight through his pain and exhaustion to help save these people’s lives. He finds the human traffickers aren’t the only enemy he must face; he must also defeat the past from which he has run since returning home.
