Synopsis/Details
Throwing a bouquet of roses into a wintry sea at Montauk Point, Basil mourns his wife's distant drowning. He catches a glimpse of her there in her wedding dress-- but she never stays long, and she never shows her face. Desperate, and realizing that they bring clearer visions of his wife, he begins to abuse the painkillers a dying old friend has given him. With the aid of the drugs, he spends one last romantic day around Montauk with her.
The script is quite short (62 pages,) but I anticipate it coming in at least an hour and a half long if filmed. It can be produced on a relatively small budget, but likely not shoestring-- at least not how I envision it. (The visuals are a very important part of the story and would require good technology.) But, even with a limited budget, if you are interested in the script, please message me, I could be wrong!
Enjoy!
