In 2101, Jack Cole, a grizzly detective from small town Texas is sent to U.N. controlled Mars to solve the colony's first ever murder. There he teams up with the genderless Martian clone Dido Phi-Six. As the politics and the settlement of Mars heat up, Cole and Dido become unlikely partners, solving a murder per episode and developing a friendship that transcends planetary boundaries.
