Synopsis/Details
Eight-year-old Kacey Matthews wakes up from a nightmare of a monster in her closet. After Kacey’s mother, Clara, reassures her that no monster is in the closet, she drifts peacefully back to sleep.  Now the night terror begins. Kacey awakes to a growl, and her bed violently shakes. She calls out to her mother but gets no response. After the shaking stops, the sound of a puppy crying from under the bed piques Kacey’s curiosity. She crawls to the end of the bed and a green hand with long claws reaches up, grabs her, and pulls her under the bed.  Clara rushes into the room to find her daughter missing. She looks all around but no Kacey. She finally realizes the window is open and once she’s at the window, she discovers her night terror. Outside underneath a streetlight is a man in a trench coat, and a fedora that covers his eyes. He has green hands with claws and a knife. Clara begs for the man to release Kacey, but he doesn’t. While Clara is on the phone with Nine-One-One, the man starts to slice Kacey’s neck... Everything fades to black, and a man wakes up in bed. He’s drenched in sweat and he’s the same man that held Kacey.  He heads to the bathroom to throw water on his face and on the way he tells his dog, Rocky, his horrible nightmare of kidnapping a little girl.  While splashing his face, Rocky growls and barks at the tub. The man approaches, pulls back the curtain to discover his dream was a reality... a night terror.
