Synopsis/Details
Bennu, the manicure apprentice, is thrown out of the pharaoh Ini's chambers by Khnumhotep when she adds hieroglyphics to his nail polish. Niankhnum, Khnumhotep's partner and partner, comforts her and reassures her that she's doing well. While waiting outside, she overhears the visiting Nubian kings discuss a plot to use their own prodigy Aya to usurp Bennu's masters' positions as royal maucirusts. Aya impresses Ini with her own hieroglyphics, and in order to protect her position, she proposes a competition. She has to teach her masters how to use symbols. Our heroes prevail, and the masters come away with newfound respect for their pupil.
