Synopsis/Details
Set in a war-ravaged Ukraine in 2025, Nameless follows Makar Zhuk, a disillusioned former PR specialist turned foster father to ten orphaned children. Haunted by decades of political corruption and broken promises, Makar, alongside his wife Natalia, a dedicated educator, rejects the status quo to launch the Nameless party—a revolutionary movement to restore true democracy. Fueled by frustration with the “pickled cucumbers” of Ukraine’s elite, he proposes a radical idea: an AI-driven system, Justice, to randomly select honest citizens as deputies, bypassing oligarchs and entrenched power.
As the Nameless gains momentum, reaching millions of supporters, Makar faces fierce opposition. Media moguls and corrupt officials, led by manipulative journalist Oleg Pechko, unleash smear campaigns, while assassination attempts threaten his family. With tech billionaire Aron Marks’ support, Makar’s vision gains global attention, but it also draws accusations of foreign influence. His children—each with unique talents, from Andriana’s social media savvy to Lesya’s innocent hope—become the heart of the movement, proving its purpose.
Through legal battles, public rallies, and a historic election, the Nameless sweeps to power, electing 300 deputies and abolishing the presidency. Makar is unexpectedly named Hetman, a lifelong leader, sparking debate within his own ranks. Facing a tense peace with a neighboring enemy, he negotiates the return of occupied lands, cementing Ukraine’s transformation into Europe’s economic and moral beacon. Nameless is a gripping tale of courage, family, and the fight for a just future against overwhelming odds.
