Nyctobia

Nyctobia storyline takes place roughly 100 years in the future. Three major companies ruled over countries and started a devastating war. After years of non-stop conflict and imprudent warfare, the three companies reached an agreement to cease fire and rule together all over the world. Thus they divided the continents into big cities-states where people live. The aftermath of the warfare caused a big part of our green world to become a wasteland. During the war, an ambitious general assaulted and pillaged an ancient monastery that worshiped a forgotten deity. He was searching for a certain artifact that was kept hidden for thousands of years. He knew that great power was sealed Little did he know that inside the artifact he tried to obtain for the purpose of bringing this whole war to an end and achieve victory for his company, lied a deep dark immense powerful species. This skirmish in the monastery grounds resulted in having the godlike forgotten race from the OFF-WORLD back into our ream. The off-world is another dimension where monsters of our legends and folklore reside, for example, Medusa race, Minotaur Race, The Loch ness beast. It is a portal to other worlds. Nyctobias was once a great civilization that reached its peak, traveling throughout the galaxy. They became so perfect, so godlike, so arrogant, and lost in their power that they became immortal with a great cost. They lost their physical body and remain across the universe as shadows, wandering aimlessly. Those creatures travel the universe and enter inside living organisms to remember and to feel what it means to be alive. Now they set eyes on our civilization seeking simple pleasures like, eating, drinking, and sex. They want to take back the mortal feelings that they lost by trying to enslave as, as their meatbags. Dave a young police officer encounters this race and sets up a hunt to take them down because the Nyctobias have infiltrated the government and the companies. In his pursuit, he loses his family wife, and two children (kidnapped) and gives up. After a few months, the shadows return to finish Dave who is hiding, but he manages to fend them off. They stab him with a knife and takes on their powers, thus becoming the great Nyctobia. With the help of close friends and the rogue underground society that stands against the companies reign, he will hunt for the monsters once again, trying to bring his family back and peace to the earth.
