Synopsis/Details
A theater troupe in the 18th century gathers together for a rehearsal. Before the actors can begin, the director places a table in front of the two leads and asks them to perform the scene. While Henri, the leading man, is thrown off, Marie, his co-star, uses the table to improve the action of the scene. And so the bud of realism is born.
