Synopsis/Details
The Yung family escape to Hong Kong during the Revolution and are taken in by the Tong Society. Sing Zhou Yung takes up work in a small restaurant to support his family. When he is requested to do small drug drops as a favor in return, he refuses and finds himself outcast.
Sing dies at a young age. His son, Wing becomes the patriarch. He has a temper that leads him to ultimately defy the Tongs which forces Wing to escape to America for his life.
1960’s in America, Wing defies Tong Society in New York’s Chinatown. His actions bring success and respect, along with fear.
1980’s. Wing returns to Hong Kong to pay respect to his father and to finally reunite with his mother and family. While in Hong Kong, Wing is murdered.
1990’s. Wing’s family business begins to crumble. Wing’s dearest friend and caretaker to Danny, the son he left behind, is murdered. The business is poised for a takeover.
Present day. Danny returns to New York for his Uncle’s funeral. During his stay Danny attempts to help sort out family affairs and finds himself pulled and drawn into the family business, unknowingly becoming the new Caesar.
Sometimes family and business is hard to tell apart.
