Synopsis/Details
Hayden, a student and wannabe writer, spends his creative writing deadline day slacking after he struggles to write more than the words ‘One day’ at the start of his story. Thank God, however, his tutor has given him a book that will help the words come to him. But when he opens the book, he finds its not God he will need to thank, as the book belongs to the devil, and comes with a fee that Hayden must pay if he wants a complete assignment.

The Writer: Joshua Stevenson

Growing up in Bradford, I found my love for stories as a teenager when I became a musician and knew I had things to say. Through self-expression, I’ve fought through the hardships of my lower-class background to achieve more than they set me up for and have travelled all over the world as a professional wrestler in order to tell stories to a live audience. All this gave me the confidence to become a mature student of screenwriting, and I recently graduated with First Class honours, using my unique perspective and diverse years of storytelling as a means to set me apart from my peers.
