Synopsis/Details
Motivation: ONE MORE LIGHT by LINKIN PARK
In memory of Chester Charles Bennington
One more light is a story of a set of genius triplets, Takadini; Takura and Tamuka, born after people do away with the practise of killing one of a set of twins or an albino whenever its born. Takadini is an albino and the other two are normal. These three are accepted by the village as a gift from God and they mark the end of the wars which were cursed upon their land.
From the Bible, the story borrows from the covenant that God made with Abraham that his descendants will be many like the stars. The village knows the secret of life that every individual has their life represented by a single star in the sky and a family by a constellation, and the boys come from the arrow family as their constellation is and when an individual die, the star flickers and fades away.
Their siblings were lost during the wars; their father left with no trace during the wars; their mother died soon after labour and they live with their grandfather.
After the little exposure they had with to the missionaries in the end of the war, the boys saw a lot that motivated them to wanna go out into the world, wherever their wild imagination takes them.
A great drought hits their lands and they are forced to go to the other side of the river, into the big city, in search for food, where they fall into a science exhibition that will turn their life up side down.
