Out of this World

Aliens from another planet have been in contact with the US government for many decades. They are now considering allowing the government to tell the people of the Earth of their existence. Unfortunately, after observing the crazy things Earthlings do, they question if they should proceed. After double checking with their superiors on the home planet, they learn that a mistake was made. They're not on the right planet. After this revelation, they can't get off the planet fast enough! They must get "Out of This World". Written as a screenplay, Genre: Comedy. The main story is in the form of a dream. The main character is deeply interested in the subject of UFOs and has watched movies and television shows on the topic all his life. The mind works in mysterious ways and so the dream contains elements of the movies, shows, and books that the main character has absorbed over the years. Ufology and ancient alien terms are peppered throughout the script. These terms might be leveraged as the basis of a contest connected to the film that could drive additional ticket sales.
