Synopsis/Details
Beau has had it with his husband’s monthly night terrors, which seem to haunt him even more than they do Bart. As we see them prepare for another full moon night, we hear the couple describe to a therapist in voice over the impact the night terrors have had on their lives ever since the brutal attack that left Bart in a coma and the wife of Bart’s lover murdered. Bart’s night terrors are accompanied by vivid nightmares where he embodies Holly as she navigates a ‘green world’ purgatory shared with Pineapple, who we quickly identify as Holly’s killer. Holly knows nothing of her life except what she sees in dreams of her last day alive, as dreamt from the confines of the green world. As Beau is following up with his husband about seeing a therapist, Bart sees an email on his phone from an unknown sender. Subject: HOLLY. Body: YOU MUST SAVE HER. Bart keeps the email to himself. A series of twists and turns and dreams of their last day alive hosted by Bart’s nightmares culminate in Holly confronting Pineapple in the green world and Bart following a lead in the waking world that he thinks will stop his night terrors and save his marriage. It doesn’t end well for Bart - or for Beau.
