Synopsis/Details
Alan, a photographer, is in good spirits on his visit to family especially with the young kids. They bring him into their simple joys of life with their creations of “Paradise Parties”. On an afternoon alone, he meets Jerry, a creative young man, who volunteers to show him the sights of the community along with photography lessons. They have a good time together along with Alan revealing that he is gay which is not a problem for this straight young man, but helps to ease any concerns he might have had. Their afternoon together is about sharing fun and creativity. Before Alan parts with Jerry, he gives him his camera which brings surprise and joy for this generous gift. Alan has been having heart health problems which has been a concern. This vacation seems to have been good therapy for that. After Alan parts with Jerry in the early evening, he makes his way to an ocean beach which is a favorite place to lay down into a sound sleep. The next morning at dawn Alan now lays on the beach motionless as if in death. Then, a long joyous Conga line on the beach led by Alan followed by young kids, Jerry, and others, continues with the beautiful sunrise.
