Synopsis/Details
Synopsis: Peculiar Blood Horror/Comedy, 17+ by Joe Giambrone Young, attractive Persephone donates blood in exchange for a couple of free movie tickets. The Blood Mobile nurse is a weird one, suspicious. After an odd incident, Persephone finds herself early inside the theater but not alone. THE GIANT appears behind and stalks her. His hand around her throat, he demands her obedience, but he accidentally touches her Crucifix and disappears into the air with a roar. Persephone runs out of the theater and begins a series of encounters; RODRIGO waits in the parking lot. He wants to romance her. Too spooked already, she races back home. Persephone calls the police, and they promise to follow up. It is her birthday, and her bestie, ROXY invites her over for drinks. In the shower, shadows appear across the curtain. She's terrified. When she peeks out, they are gone. Arriving at the party, it's a “Surprise!”, but since she was just attacked, it's a weird scene. Persephone drinks too much and passes out on Roxy's couch. Persephone is back at the dance company where her tardiness is not appreciated by the stern head mistress. At the shopping mall, The Giant returns. He stalks her from spot to spot. She panics and runs toward the center, where LOGOS appears and wants to convince her to join forces with him. Logos spills the beans about Persephone's peculiar blood. All the vampires want it. She is now the center of their world. They also fear that if they turn her she will become more powerful than them—so she must swear obedience first. She flees from all of them. Leaving her dance studio at night, The Giant attacks! Rodrigo intervenes and saves her. During the fight, she stings The Giant with her cross, and he disappears again. Rodrigo is clawed up badly. She invites him back to her place. Rodrigo tells her about the Vampire Queen—CARLOTTA is on her way. Persephone can't handle the stress and becomes a drunk. In a daze she rigs garlic around her house windows and doors. LITTLE VAMPIRE GIRL smells her blood and climbs right in through an attic vent. She's not The Queen. Persephone whacks her with the Crucifix. Persephone is overtaken, her mind in a daze she floats out of her safe space and to a night club. There a beautiful, tall dark woman buys her drinks and they dance together. She is entranced by Carlotta. The police won't believe her and neither will Roxy. Wild-eyed, Persephone convinces a local priest, FATHER JOSEPH, to help her fight off the vampires. But he is soon defeated and turned into a vampire himself. When Carlotta grows bored she attacks and turns Persephone into a night creature. But Persephone never swore allegiance. Now Persephone has the power and defeats Carlotta in a fight. She lays down the law for all vampire kind as top Queen. No more killing. All the vampires must obey. Carlotta regroups by mesmerizing and sending Roxy to kill Persephone in the daytime, but she fails. Persephone takes the initiative and hunts down Carlotta and her vampire thug army. At their underground lair, she stakes them one by one in a final battle. A vengeful Queen now, Persephone frees Roxy from Carlotta's spell and heads off into the night to lay down the law.
