Synopsis/Details
Everett is a middle aged man whom on the outset appears to be living a normal life. Everett has a supernatural experience when he meets a young female (Charli). Everett has spent months avoiding taking any personal responsibility over his condition and refuses to acknowledge that the treatment he is having is not working. Charli is a free spirit, youthful in appearance with a happy go lucky mentality. The distinct opposite of Everett who is more melancholic, negative and conventional. Charli becomes the unwanted guest that Everett is both aggravated and intrigued by her all at once. Charli manages to get Everett to agree to take her to her sick mother's house after getting into his car uninvited and petrol station in the middle of nowhere. Charli forces Everett to examine his life and face uncomfortable truths and the history he would rather forget, Charli is not delicate with Everett's feelings and presents the harsh reality that Everett needs to start taking action by addressing his emotional pain rather than masking and taking prescribed drugs. Charli uses unconventional methods to allow Everett to examine his life and take the step forward he needs to start healing his inner child. When Everett finally tells Charli about his childhood trauma's, he feels compelled to confront his abusive stepfather; once Charli has achieved her goal of getting Everett to revisit his past and make peace with it buy visiting his stepfather, she disappears as if by magic.

The Writer: Serguté Warner-Bowen

A budding script writer growing, refining, learning, playing and exploring. I spend more time experiencing, watching and learning about life than I spend writing. This quality strengthens my ability to buildk characters that are as layered or complicated as the people we know. I'm genuinely fascinated by people and the nuances and idiosyncrasies that make them who they are. I like to write for actors to bring the characters I have created to life; getting their teeth stuck into all the joys and complications of the characters and the tribulations they face. I'm not always a happily ever after kind of girl either and like to keep the viewer on their toes. Go to bio
