TREATMENT FOR POLITICAL TRAGEDY (1st February ,2022) WAMALA ALLAN PETER allanriri15@gmail.com. 256701152480 LONGLINE A school boy fights the Ugandan government down which hunts him to death for solving two major criminal cases, seeks help from USA government to overthrow his home government for his survival and a better future. CHARACTERS ALLAN RIRI(17) a tall black intelligent teen , black eyes and handsome. MANDA SUZAN(38) a married woman with bronze hair and light skinned. KETRA JOY(16) a beautiful young girl with perfect body shape, sensible mind and dark hair. MBAYO REGAN(53) an old aged man with grey hair and a president of Uganda with selfish, rude and dictatorship behaviour. KAALU CHRIS(17) a tall black boy with black eyes,dark stylish hair and a fine baby face. WAMALA JOSH(19) a school mate to Riri with intelligent mind, muscular body and stubborn. BBOSA MIKE(18) a brown independent teen ,from a rich family, short tempered and aggressive. AAKU SAMUEL(41) an aged man with a supporting stick and grey hair with a base sound. SYPNOSIS In 2015,DC Washington,America.The government of USA was suggesting to allow and extend homosexuality free and hoping to spread the law to other African countries,some of the countries agreed since USA was going to fund them with supplies while other African countries disagreed. Uganda is one of the countries that disagreed the implementation of homosexuality law having it in mind that they had discovered oil in the pearl of Africa which was more profitable and useful to the country’s economy.This annoyed America and the Cold War of accusations broke out between the two. Misagreements continued as USA planned to over throw the corrupt Ugandan government by showing and exploiting the rude behaviours and dictatorship governance of president Mbayo Regan(53) such as killing of Mps and diplomatic members plus bombing of public places due to insecurity. USA didn’t stop here also sent spies to Uganda to investigate and take evidence to overthrow Mbayo but all fell apart as there was no proof yet,when Ugandan government knew about it,Also went ahead and spied on its citizens who were cooperating with the Americans hence life imprisonments or death. PRESENT DAY: ACT ONE On a Monday morning school assembly of Heinfield high school as the Headmistress ,Suzan (38)is addressing the assembly of A-levellers for the personal fieldwork to be done and handled over to the teachers respectively as the end of term exams.As the assembly address continues,a heavy blast is heard from across Mall-near the school causing crust shakes leading to the disorganisation of the assembly while teachers and staff members try to keep the school calm but it’s impossible as students observe smoke in the atmosphere and later hear police cyrenes leading to school chaos Two days later, evening as Riri meets his best friend Chris(17) in Matts’ gym with a school mate,Josh(19) who is carrying out his field work research leaves the camera recording live as he claims to have forgotten his files at home.At that time Riri drags him self into conversation with the owner of the gym,Samuel (41)hence talking about politics and recent mall bombings.Riri goes on intervening with politics hence solving two major criminal cases with his intelligence without noticing that the camera is broadcasting live to the school class meeting waiting for Josh to present his field work. 2. In the school class meeting,teacher Derrick(31) who is also a Ugandan spy, identifies Riri as the enemy of the state hence sending the video to his bosses to eliminate Riri.The video having been received by his bosses forwarded to President Mbayo,he orders his three trusted men,Kako(35),Peter(29),Daniel(33) to hunt Riri and bring him alive or dead where the three men go ahead and move to the gym, Mbayo orders his trusted assailant to take the black bag containing disks and destroy them after capturing Riri. Meanwhile at the gym,Riri continues to crack jokes with his friend Chris and Samuel as they hear cyrenes and moving cars outside the gym. Samuel on the look to the window convinces Riri how everything is going to be fine but Riri turns the face worriedly,accusing Samuel for being a spy as he finds his wayout. ACT TWO: RIRI ON THE RUN Armed government officials enter the gym forcefully as the only mission is to eliminate Riri and capture the victims around but Riri sneaks out via the ceiling to the outside only wondering how government officials have traced him. Kako,Peter and Daniel go ahead and command security forces to red block the surrounding area “no one in,no one out “as they have Riri on sight running down the streets. Riri is hunt down until he is captured by the trained trusted men of president Mbayo into a mini army van. At school after schoolmates and teachers of Riri watching the video,also wonder how a boy has been traced hence glance at each other worriedly as the headmistress dismisses the meeting and calling teachers around for personal talks.Chaos break out as traffic congestion and bullets are fired during the capture of Riri leading to traffic congestion and causing riots hence trusted men move out to keep law and order.Riri engages himself in a fight with the man left with him inside the van by holding the neck leading to unconsciousness hence removing the handcuffs and taking the black bag with him. Night at 8:00 Riri hides himself in at the back of unfinished house and contacts Chris to find him there as he plans to take the situation to the next level.Chris arrives with a camera and records his Riri he claims not guilty and 3. proves himself free but at the same time president Mbayo also calls for a-nation hearing for the recent mall bombings and chaos plus riots that led to imprisonments and injuries of many people that evening,Mbayo orders for the killing of Riri on spot, forging evidence that is one of the bombers and he committed trison by cooperating with the Americans. Chris posts videos on social media with Riri seeking help from USA government claiming that he has evidence for president Mbayo’s dirty work on disks. After Americans watching the videos live on internet,USA government sends its four army specialists in order to save Riri from such a tragedy and take him home to America with evidence to be used against Mbayo to overthrow the Ugandan Corrupt government. CUT TO: Riri sneaks out from the unfinished house to the streets hence climbing the unknown fence to the inside where he finds Joy(16)who identifies his face from the picture on TV.Joy looking scared, Riri approaches her convincing her how he has been framed and he is not a bomber and only needs food and some clothes,afterwards Joy shows him his way out.Meanwhile at school Derrick is trying to prove himself innocent as he convinces the teachers that Riri couldn’t know much about it unless he is a bomber.Suzan fury annoyed sacks Derrick and goes on deletes the profile files of Riri from the computer and sets hard copies on fire. BACK TO RIRI:AT THE MALL (Ring ring ring) on phone, Riri contacts his parents who are already captured by the police and army officials,gun pointing them to convince Riri to handle himself at the authorities but Riri proves to the parents that he is not guilty.Government officials trace him down after being identified to have been hiding behind a big mall next to the pine tree plantations hence Uganda government armed men arrive and chase him.Fortunately he runs to the mall aimlessly and terrified as he knocks Joy accidentally in the supermarket who had come to buy food and other supplies,luckily enough,Joy recognises him again and helps Riri to hide. 4. IN THE HIDEOUT,Joy gives Riri a suggestion of driving to a hospital construction site with her to hide there. Riri buys the idea after conditions that Joy must call her ex- boyfriend to lead them.A narrow escape from the mall,Mike drives to the Hospital Construction Site which looks safe and clear for them,Mike goes on to secure the top area as Riri and Joy watch the basement.Here Riri and Joy have a close conversation dragging themselves to a romance and kisses as Mike intervenes for clarification with Joy,leaving Riri in the basement. Mike and Joy take the stapes,they have a big quarrel together, leaving Mike annoyed and betrays his sympathy for Riri hence contacting the police. In a few minutes,police and army surround the area, warning Riri to handle himself but Riri refuses after sensing that he is knocking death. Army counts down and couldn’t hold more hence entering forcefully only to kill Riri. Fortunately, four USA army specialists arrive in time to rescue Riri as a heavy cross fire breaks in and out of the Hospital Construction Site, Riri and Joy on the run to save life,Joy is shot when Riri is trying to find the way out. Riri shades tears as he carries Joy only with a prayer for her to stay with him before he rushes her to the hospital,unfortunately Joy’s life ends after Riri trying to speed the car and almost involved in an accident. ACT THREE: UGANDA GOVERNMENT OVERTHREW. Riri becomes speechless and shades tears while holding Joy’s body in her hands outside the car besides the road. A moment later USA specialists find him across the road and grab him to run to the nearby forest to save his life as Riri shouts “let me go.” Uganda government in search of Riri and USA specialists also enters the forest with military helicopters in the sky to hunt for Riri and the four USA specialists hence bullets cross fire and bombs explode.USA specialists call for back up as they contact the American bases for rescue, unfortunately bullets continue to cross fire and one USA specialists is hit down dead Eric(27),his body is left behind as Riri and the rest run and engage in the cross fire of bullets in the forest.After a defined time back up for the USA arrives and fight jets throw bombs to buy time 5. for the Americans with Riri to run across the River for rescue. 1 WEEK LATER Disks from the bag with evidence of the dirty works of president Mbayo are broadcasted live to the world international tvs and internet showing how killing of diplomats and Mps were planned and staged when president Mbayo gave orders in order to threaten citizens and keep his dictatorship governance in power. After president Mbayo viewing all that,him and some of his trusted men try to run using minor airports but unluckily, INTERPOL and UN government capture him due to evidence before he sets off. Ugandan citizens celebrate for the help of America to have overthrown the dictatorship governance of president Mbayo,Riri at this time had spent aweek in America and was advised to join CIA because of his survival instincts. FINAL SCENE Riri arrives in Uganda after all had settled peacefully and visits Joy’s grave to pay his respects and also visiting Joy’s family for his condolences but on his surprise he is welcomed as a hero at Joy’s residence by her parents in grief, Riri offers help financially to support Joy’s parents and their siblings.In deep sorrow and sadness, Riri leaves to set off for America. INT.ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT-DAY Riri taking the flight stapes to enter the American plane to live for America. Turns his back and glances at his motherland. RIRI (deep breathe and closes eyes) There are people who will build my better home. (Smiles...then) Home Sweet Home. 6. Turns forward and enters into the plane. END 7.
