This pilot episode is a historical fiction based on Queen Amanirenas. The city of Kerma is attacked by the Romans, catching the Kushites off guard. Amanirenas must evacuate her people before the Romans get there. After getting her people to safety, she meets up with her son Prince Akinidad to retake the city.
