Synopsis/Details
Someone is going to be murdered at a posh Rockland Maine Rehab center for reasons that are unclear. Reality Check is a psychological thriller, which takes place in a rehabilitation clinic, solicited by the rich & famous: A place of solitude where they can fight off the demons of drug and alcohol abuse. Peter Lincoln, a tabloid reporter, goes undercover at the clinic looking for a big story to save his flailing career. After the admittance of a world-famous rock musician, all hell breaks loose. Amid rumors of blackmail and sexual indiscretion, people begin dying, both mysteriously and tragically. Suspects abound, from the daughter of a congressman, to a patient who comes out of a catatonic stupor, as well as a beautiful doctor who spends an inordinate amount of time with one of her residents. Are the deaths politically motivated, or is the killer simply fueled by a need to extinguish the enemies of the woman he adores? Our reporter, realizing that time is running out both for himself and the next victim, needs to pinpoint exactly who the perpetrator is. Expect the unexpected...
