Really Scary

The small town of Hornsville is having its annual Halloween festival, complete with a haunted house run by the festival manager, Susan. While on break, the scare actors celebrate the success of this year's festival, and discuss its dark history. Kevin, chainsaw murderer and history buff, explains that over 200 years ago, a witch named Zippora was burned on the festival grounds. Zippora was accused of bringing depictions of monsters to life, and Kevin believes that her powers may have been real. The others brush him off. Meanwhile, at the edge of the festival, two girls find the remains of Zippora. In a flash of light, she takes over their bodies, and begins transforming festival goers into real versions of the monsters they're dressed as. The monsters attack the haunted house, transforming two of the actors into real zombies and turning Kevin's prop into a real chainsaw. Kevin fights through the monsters and gets his fellow scare actors to safety. Outside, Kevin finds a broken prop torch that Susan had been using. The scare actors decide to go look for her. By the festival's central bonfire, the scare actors see Zippora, possessing Susan's body, giving a speech to her newly turned monsters. She orders them to find and transform all the festival goers before taking over Hornsville, and soon, the world. The scare actors realize they have to stop her before it's too late. Led by Kevin, they use their acting skills to disguise themselves as real monsters. Everything seems to be going well until one of the actors sees a little witch girl about to be turned. She rushes over to save her, giving away the group. They rush into a supply shed where they find Bob, the festival supply manager, who is dressed as a dragon. He's entirely unaware of the chaos going on outside, but before Kevin can explain, Zippora appears and turns him. The scare actors manage to grab a few cannisters of lighter fluid before the shed goes up in flames. Outside the burning shed, Kevin realizes there are only two other scare actors left: Jorge, a zombie, and Tilly, a killer clown. Kevin offers to face Zippora alone and let them go home safe, but they're determined to help him save Hornsville. Kevin lures Zippora and her monsters into a corn maze, pouring lighter fluid behind him as he goes. Tilly and Jorge drive around the edge of the maze, pouring a circle of lighter fluid around the border. They manage to complete the loop, but end up being surrounded by gargoyles and robots. They decide to purposefully crash into them and die as humans. Inside the maze, Kevin is cornered by Zippora. She believes she has won, but just as she's about to turn him, he pulls out Susan's prop torch. It turns into a real flame, and sets the corn maze on fire. Trapped by the flames, all the monsters burn to death... All except for one, the little witch girl the scare actor had apparently failed to save. As fire sirens approach from a distance, she begins to smile.
