Synopsis/Details
A man who was brutalized by his father returns to the past to kill him before the violence could start; but he kills him before he (the son) was conceived. Thus he gets trapped in a loop of existence and non-existence, until he realizes that his father had been himself brutalized. The moment of empathy allows him to not kill his father and emerge from the loop, sadder and wiser in the knowledge that a cycle of violence can not be ended with more violence.
