RHINOCEROS

SURVIVAL/DRAMA/HORROR. Carrie, a woman in her fifties, lives alone in her remote farmhouse fifteen years after a pandemic wiped out most of humanity, her family included. Carrie is completely self-sustained and has had next to no physical contact with another human being for nearly two decades. While tending to her plot, a terrified young boy named Jake emerges from the trees that surround her property. After long deliberation, Carrie allows Jake into her home, where she learns he has recently escaped from a group of dangerous cannibals who have held him captive. Carrie, uncertain of Jake and low on supplies, must decide whether or not to harbor the young boy or exile him. She must make her choice before the dangerous group come knocking.
