Synopsis/Details
SYNOPSIS. RIGEL: Galaxy Wars Part One In the year 2037, Alpha Force Seven, an elite group of Space Force operatives, travel through a wormhole to the Orion Constellation, only to find themselves caught in a brutal interplanetary war between the Nordic-looking Rasposians and their sworn arch-nemesis, the Naxuvians. Following the discovery of a wormhole near Saturn’s moon Titan, space shuttle U.S.S. Constellation is sent on a top-secret mission in search of intelligent life. Commanded by the strait-laced Captain RON BECKER, this motley crew of veterans from a decade-long war in the African Congo find themselves 860 light years from home in the Rigel Star system. Excitement of discovering an Earth-like planet is soon shattered as their ship is attacked and sent hurtling towards a vast blue ocean. After skilful flying by Becker, Co-pilot EMILY KRUGER and navigator SCOTT RODGERS, they manage a dramatic water landing before resting on a remote desert island. Initial excitement from gung-ho marines MAGNUS KESTRAL and RICKY HERNANDEZ soon boils over into frustration for the more sensitive Lieutenant JAMES HAWK, whose initial desire to escape Earth is challenged by the fact he might never return. Directing his anger at intelligence officer REG SINCLAIR, a split in the group begins to emerge. Before long, Alpha Force are intercepted by the native military and imprisoned. Waking up in a large naval vessel, the Constellation crew are introduced to ADMIRAL KRAKK, whose Nordic appearance and that of his crew shocks the Earth visitors. Their conversation is dramatically interrupted as the Raspo ship is forced to take off into orbit to engage an intruding enemy cruiser. Succeeding, they travel to a base located in the Toganya island chain on the planet’s surface. The following day, the constellation crew are given a tour of a hanger containing a fleet of fighter jets. A sleek, hyper-sonic anti-gravity craft captures the attention of Hawk, who is desperate to escape. As the crew settle in and explore the island, Hawk becomes increasingly agitated as painful memories of the Congo begin to resurface. Following an outpouring of emotion to Kruger during an evening walk on the beach, Hawk snaps. The next day he steals an anti-gravity craft and heads halfway around the planet to the mysterious and strictly forbidden Syora island. There, Hawk encounters a wise old hermit named Reldaas, who imparts his vast knowledge about the true history of the local galaxy, human species and how Earth is intertwined in all this. Needing to reflect on these startling revelations, Hawk decides to explore Syora. Finding peace, he swears never to leave. Back on Toganya, Kestral and Hernandez copy Hawk by stealing an anti-gravity craft, seeking the thrills of nightlife on the nearby civilian island of Owaatta. Identified in a popular local night spot, they try to escape but are quickly apprehended by jet-pack wearing security forces after a dramatic street chase. Following this, Krakk orders Kruger to retrieve Hawk from Syora, which she fails to do. Incensed by the unruly Earthlings, the planetary council summon Krakk, demanding an explanation. Krakk pleads for leniency, explaining the difficulties of being stuck on a distant alien world. While sympathetic, the council stipulate that to fix the damaged Constellation, the Earthlings would have to partake in a daring mission to destroy a crippled enemy vessel. The crew are hastily integrated into the Raspo military and undergo intensive training. Just before they are set to go, Hawk returns, having been convinced by Reldaas that his future lay with his fellow Earthlings. With mission parameters explained, the group static-line jump behind enemy lines, making their way through thick jungle and into the crippled Naxuvian ship. Engaging in heavy fighting, they successfully plant high-yield explosives and escape, rendezvous with an amphibious assault vehicle and disappear into the ocean. With the enemy ship’s force field crippled from the blast, a co-ordinated air strike including pilots Becker, Kruger and Rogers blows it to pieces. A few weeks later and with the Constellation now repaired, Krakk bids farewell to his Earth friends as they take off home.

I have recently completed my first two scripts "An American Football Story: The Final Yard" and " RIGEL: GALAXY WARS PART 1" . I am currently working on a time-travel movie that takes place during the Roman Empire and another about the Fall of Atlantis. I am also the author of the epic fantasy series "Knights of Eternity" , which I plan to convert into a multi-movie screenplay at some stage in the future. Born near Glasgow, Scotland, I have travelled extensively throughout the world, and have been lucky to experience living in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Germany and France. My travels have been very inspirational to my writing, especially my book series, which involves a lot of… Go to bio
