Synopsis/Details
Roy 'campy' Campenella was the greatest Dodger catcher. He played in the negro leagues until Branch Rickey picked him and Jackie Robinson. 3-time baseball MVP. His two homeruns beat the Yankees in the 1955 world series. Crippled by an accident, he was entered, in a wheelchair, into the Cooperstown Hall of Fame. The Dodger retired his'39' number forever.
