Samuel and the Arborians

Global warming is taking its toll and cities are becoming unbreathable. The situation seems dramatic, but some lucky people can still afford to ignore it. Samuel and his mother, Lorena, have just moved to a new neighbourhood. Life is expensive there, but the vegetation and the fresh air are priceless, aren't they? Samuel learns that his mother has cancer and that not only does she not have enough money to pay for the treatment, but she risks sending him to his aunt's house if they can't make ends meet. In a last effort to save their only source of income, Samuel makes a strange discovery. He meets the Arborian community. Creatures living under his garden. Each flower, each plant, is in fact only a part of the submerged monster. He learns that they have a solution to save his mother. But it's not going to be easy. Conflicts between Arborians prevent Samuel from concentrating on his goal. Hello, I'm L.Jamai, don't hesitate to ask me if you want to read the rest of the story. I'd be more than glad to share it!
