The series tells stories about four women in their early 30s, Ashley, Emily, Olivia and Lily. They live and work in Santa Monica, where they try to get ahead in their careers and love lives. ASHLEY MAY is successful real estate agent. She's confident and concentrates on getting deals and having fun on the side. She's well dressed, likes the finer things in life. Single. She’s not into relationship drama, but the drama calls for her. Owns a house and lets her sister Emily live with her. EMILY MAY is Ashley’s sister. An aspiring actress who is bartending while waiting for her big break. Lives with Ashley. Always a bit late. Single. A bit on the slutty side. Feels sometimes a bit insecure with her more successful sister which creates drama between the sisters. Oh, and she borrows outfits from Ashley’s closet... without her permission, of course! 29 years old. OLIVIA STEELE is a working model, a fitness instructor and social media influencer who was hoping to become the next super model. Single, likes to date rich men. A bit uptight with her views and manners. All about healthy living and mindfulness. Does not want to ruin her body by having kids. 30 years old. LILY MOORE works as a marketing assistant and has a passion for photography. She's ambitious at work. She has a live-in boyfriend Jason but struggling with the idea of a long-term commitment since Jason wants her to quit working. Hopes to find true love but not sure her boyfriend is the one. 31 years old. The girls find it hard to find a relationship in Los Angeles and they get in hilarious situations while trying to find their future Mr. Right. Since Ashley and Emily are sisters and we get to see the sisterly rivalry between the two. PILOT: In the pilot we establish the characters and their lives and the core locations. Ashley literally bumps into a mystery man, who will turn into her love-hate interest and the core relationship of the series. Emily meets a guy, who's a few years younger than her, but he is not from LA. That will create issues. Olivia has a date with a promising man who ends up only wanting a one-night stand, which is not what uptight Olivia wants at all. Lily is struggling with her overly possessive live-in boyfriend and finds out that her boss Joe is getting divorced and has a crush on Lily.
