Synopsis/Details
Veteran LAPD homicide detective Babette Sanchez has many demons: a cheating ex-husband/ex-cop, a serious drinking problem, a sexual thing for her married superior, Lieutenant Stahls, and a dark past involving the near-drowning death of a childhood friend. So what's one more demon? While investigating a series of suspicious drownings in and around the greater Los Angeles area Detective Sanchez stumbles onto the path of Leviathan, an elusive serial killer who drowns his victims and leaves behind sadistic, cryptic clues. Detective Sanchez tracks Leviathan to the Salton Sea where she joins forces with Deputy Gant, a former LAPD police officer, and the Imperial Valley Sheriff's Department. What she soon discovers are dark secrets about her own past and the shocking truth about Leviathan.
