Synopsis/Details
A lonely, middle-aged woman, Becca, has no husband or kids or other identifying society "labels", is over her head in student loan debt, feels like she has no friends, is an outsider in her family, and is seriously struggling to get over her ex; the sexy, yet broken, Italian Tony Peppoloni. Becca uses her quirky obsession with actor Jon Hamm as part of her coping mechanism, however - spoiler alert- she never meets Jon Hamm, or any man. The story is a brief journey through Becca's world, an Acupuncturist with incredible gifts as a healer, who fails to see her own value and impact she has made on other people's lives. In a random twist of events, Beccca signs up for an acting class and quickly realizes she doesn't want to be a downtrodden character in her own life story. Becca decides to channel all her pain into a screenplay she ends up writing called "Searching for Jon Hamm". In doing so, Becca makes peace with her broken heart and finally sees her value and purpose in life, simply as a human, being.

I found it a great platform to simply vent after I had exhausted friends and family with my woes. I googled and you-tubed how to do everything and I wrote it in Word, can you imagine!? It is now in proper format from a screenwriting software I bought and has gone through many many revisions. I like the version now but have already wanted to add 2 more scenes and pair down some of the… Go to bio
