Synopsis/Details
In a fleeting moment of childhood innocence, Harb plays beside Reem, his childhood friend, unaware that tragedy looms. His father is murdered, and his mother Shaikha flees with him from the village, fearing for his safety. She seeks shelter in her brother Saeed’s tribe in the heart of the desert, where she dies — carrying an unborn son who is buried with her, never having seen life.
Harb grows up among the tribe, befriended by Ruba, daughter of Nawwaf, Saeed’s closest friend and Harb’s spiritual father. Years later, Suleiman — the true killer — pays the leader of an enemy tribe to raid Saeed’s people. War erupts, Nawwaf is killed, and Harb’s thirst for revenge ignites.
Mistakenly accused of treachery by his own uncle, Harb is imprisoned, then freed in secret by Ruba. He returns to his father’s village, uncovering that Suleiman orchestrated the murder, his mother’s death, and a web of lies, all while conspiring with British colonialists to dominate the region.
Facing fear and silence from the villagers, Harb is driven out, only to return stronger — leading a revolution that liberates the land. In a final confrontation, he hunts Suleiman down, ending not just a man’s life, but dismantling a corrupt regime and reviving a truth buried for years.
