SHADOW ROCK

Runes is a sci-fi horror limited series. The plot of Runes takes place in Shadow Rock, a fictional town set in the mountainous Arkansas. Throughout the course of the series the main characters explore a world infested with conniving extra-terrestrials, and must go through hoops to figure out the reason behind their arrival on earth, and their stay at Shadow Rock in particular. Shadow Rock is full of legends and mysteries. One such mystery is the newly excavated cave. It's appeal is surreal for Ronan, one of the main characters, an archaeologist with a troubled past. His past being his childhood living as an orphan and bad teenage years at Shadow Rock county before leaving it for good. Now he is back at Shadow Rock where he must face his demons, and much more. Meet Charlotte, whose ideal life is turned upside down when she comes across the alien imposters residing Shadow Rock. She is rescued by Ronan. However, her safety is not secured for long. What ensues after is a game of cat and mouse where Charlotte must hold out against the deceptive onslaught of the aliens until she and Ronan are able to uncover the darkest mysteries buried deep within Shadow Rock and its hidden history.
