Synopsis/Details:

Shoes De Clown has been killed in a freak accident, and his friends discover that they may have to pay more than their respects due to his financial situation. Since they do not want to be on the hook, they find creative ways to cover the funeral services at the warehouse where his body is displayed. And each one of them participates in a non-traditional type of service as ragtime music plays in the background.

The clown’s friends then discover they have two more problems after the service at the warehouse. They lack transportation to get his body to the burial site, and the cost of the burial plot was only partially covered. His friends must get creative once again to solve both problems and to finally lay their friend to rest. The background music for the trip to the burial site and at the site is similar to a New Orleans Dixieland jazz style funeral beginning with a somber song and ending with an upbeat song when his friends leave the burial site.

This story will be a throwback to the old days of silent film comedy and an emphasis on visual comedy. There is no dialogue, and the sound track is limited to music and some sound effects.

The Writer: Dan Herman

I've been on this road for many years. I thank God for his blessings and the people who were placed in my life. I am also thankful for the people who gave me the encouragement I needed to write and produce my own projects. One of the best quotes I ever heard was at my son's high school graduation. In her speech, a young woman used the William H. Johnsen quote: "If it is to be, it is up to me". That quote stayed with me, and it is another reason why I completed the projects listed in the next paragraph. I am an independent producer, author, and entertainer. The following DVD's were produced by me: (1) "Pottsville - Just Passing Through", (2) "Strumly's Shorts", (3) "Tall Tale Willie" and "... Go to bio
