Synopsis/Details
Silas is a 17-year-old boy born into poverty and emotional ruin. His father is a gambling addict, his mother is emotionally distant, and violence fills their home. Called “useless” and blamed for everything, Silas drops out of school at fifteen and ends up on the streets, where addiction, loneliness, and despair follow.
Several suicide attempts later, Silas decides to fight back. He finds a job despite being judged for his appearance. There, he quietly falls in love with Maya, a kind co-worker. Too ashamed to tell her, he dreams of being someone else. Saving every penny, he undergoes cosmetic surgery, changes his look, and enters a new world of beauty, money, and parties.
But the more he blends in, the more he realizes he doesn’t belong. He sees the brutal gap between the rich and the broken. Though he fixed his face, the world stayed the same. Disillusioned, Silas buys a small home, isolates himself, trains every day, and reflects on his past. He accepts his life—not as perfect, but as complete.
Each night, he looks in the mirror and whispers: "Thank you, God. I've lived enough. I'm ready to go."
