Synopsis/Details
Life story of professional Wrestler. Born Colin Hardy, at the age of 13
began backyard wrestling with his friends, by 16 joins a wrestling school.
By 19 is traveling Europe and making a name for himself as CJ Hardy.
Finally every wrestlers dream becomes a possible reality as he receives a tryout
for WWO ~(World Wrestling Org). He is unsuccessful, and feels like he missed his chance.
What follows is a slow downward spiral of bad decisions including working for promotions that exploit him, simply so he can gain notoriety.
becoming depending on prescription painkillers, becoming an alcoholic, ruining his marriage and becoming estranged from his daughter
and finally being arrested for drunk driving and possession of cocaine.
The company he works for fires him.
After 30 days in jail, he is released, and is contacted by WWO's wellness center. They offer to pay for his rehab.
Overwhelmed, CJ says yes. He remains in rehab for 3 months.
When he is released, WWO give him a lifeline, another tryout. He is offered a 2 year developmental deal, and he accepts.
This is a redemption story, and CJ battled his demons to finally realize his dream and make it to the WWO.
