The Writer: L. Quincy Rankine

Reigning from East New York, I'm a nineteen-year-old filmmaker new to the scene, hoping to offer something new. My intentions are to express my versatility through film, theater, music, and television in the art of storytelling and to reflect narratives that aren't really displayed in media. I have done a documentary short and a visual poem since my time in high school. Also, with my Jamaican and Nevisian background, I hope to express more stories concerning my heritage and childhood.
