Upon the arrival of his first child, Dade Jennings put his entertainment aspirations on hold to support his wife's career and get the home set up for his new family. Twelve years later, we find Dade trapped inside of the monotony of his daily routine. A missed flight serves as the catalyst that thrusts him back into his career. Ian, the family's two-year-old, gets in where he fits in as they try to deter him from becoming Dylan #2. Dade's mother, Karen, is ridiculously cheap and slightly judgmental. Her voice represents the general public who may question Dade's "lifestyle". And his long time boyfriend, Justin, is usually the one giving Dade that firm push forward as he steps outside of his comfort zone and back into his own life. As shocking or intriguing as the show's title may be, you find out very soon that Dade's sexuality is the least important part of his life.
